Tadpole Looking For Mother

The warm spring is coming. The ice in the pond melted. The mother frog slept all winter and woke up.

She climbed out of the mud hole, jumped into the pond with a splash, and laid many black, round eggs on the water plants.

The spring breeze blows gently and the sun shines. The water in the pond is getting warmer.

The eggs laid by the frog mother slowly started to move and turned into a group of tadpoles with big heads and long tails. They were swimming around in the water, very happy.

One day, the mother duck took her children to swim in the pond. When the tadpole saw the duckling paddling around in the water with its mother, it reminded him of his mother.

The tadpole, you ask me, I ask you, but no one knows.

"Where is our mother?"

They swam to Mother Duck together and asked Mother Duck:

"Mother Duck, have you seen our mother? Please tell us, what does our mother look like?"

Mother duck replied: "I have seen it. Your mother has two big eyes on the top of her head and a wide and big mouth. Go and find it yourself."

"Thank you, Mother Duck!" The little tadpole swam forward happily.

A big fish swam over. The tadpoles saw two big eyes on the top of their heads, and their mouths were wide. They thought it must be their mother, so they chased after and called them: "Mom! Mom!"

The fish said with a smile: "I am not your mother. I am the mother of the little fish. Your mother has four legs, go and find her in front."

"Thank you! Mother Fish!" The tadpole swam forward again.

A big turtle swam over. When the tadpole saw that the big turtle had four legs, they thought that it was really his mother who was here this time, so he chased after him and shouted: "Mom! Mom!"

The turtle smiled and said: "I am not your mother. I am the mother of the little turtle. Your mother's belly is white, go and look for it in front."

"Thank you! Mother Turtle!" The little tadpole swam forward again.

The little tadpoles swam, and swam to the pond. They saw a frog sitting on a round lotus leaf and singing "Go to Go."

They swam over quickly and asked in a low voice: "Excuse me: Have you seen our mother?" Is it? She has two big eyes on the top of her head, a wide and big mouth, four legs, a white belly, wearing green clothes, and she sings 'Calvary'..."

The frog laughed after hearing "Calvary", and she said, "Oh! Silly boy, I am your mother"

After hearing this, the tadpoles wagged their tails and said, "Strange! Why do we look different from you?"

The mother frog smiled and said: "You are still young. In a few days, you will grow two back legs; in a few days, you will grow two front legs. All four legs will be lengthened and taken off. Wear green clothes, just like mom, and you can jump to the shore with mom to catch insects to eat."

After hearing this, the little tadpole was so happy that he turned somersaults in the water: "Ah! We have found our mother! We have found our mother! Good mother, good mother, come to us quickly! Come to us quickly!" "

The mother frog jumped into the water with a splash and went to play with her baby tadpoles.
